What people are saying about

Beyond the Myth.

Beyond the Myth is the first installment in The Myth Series by Stacy A. Moran. This new series is a magnificent world that intertwines modern fantasy with magical mythology. There is intrigue, romance, adventure, fantastic twists on good and evil. The action is fit for the big screen and the sex is as powerful as the battles the characters fight.

A wonderful new author!, May 26, 2013

I was so in love with the characters in this book! They each grab you and you just want to know more about their backstory. I was very impressed with the world here and intense action scenes. Stacy Moran will definitely be a author to watch. Can't wait for her next book!

 Beyond the Myth

Masterful Mythology

I was given an advance copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed "Beyond the Myth (The Myth Series)." It reminded me of "Game of Thrones" and the Greek myths I used to enjoy reading when I was younger. Stacy Moran is an intelligent writer who knows how to weave a compelling plot. Her unadorned prose is lean and mean. She has a wonderful ear for dialogue. The mythological detail is great and I was riveted. Looking forward to the next story in this dark and fascinating world.

I find myself having a hard time with this review, not because I was unhappy with the book but more that I can't focus on any one thing I loved about it. The solid foundation to the story is where I will start, after all every book needs one. The story of ancient good versus evil really stands out in the basis for this story, it's one that everyone can relate to and a relatable thought connects the reader instantly to the characters. It doesn't matter which character you connect with, good or evil, each character in Beyond the Myth has a struggle one can relate to on a personal level. One of the hallmarks of a truly memorable book is one that drags you under, living and breathing the individual pains and triumphs along with the characters. Beyond the Myth gives you the chance to feel Sorina's need to be her own person, to assert herself as an individual while also needing to submit to the domination of love, which love ultimately is no matter how you choose to express it. Love is all consuming, all encompassing, and dominates every aspect of ones thoughts and actions. Love will move anyone to extremes and Beyond the Myth contains that feeling. I may be wrong in my assumptions here but it is what I took away with me and so much more. My advice is to read it, discover a whole new world, and judge for yourself, I promise you won't be disappointed, I wasn't. I can't wait to see what this world brings next.

A creative twist on good & evil, May 10, 2013
This review is from: Beyond the Myth (The Myth Series) (Kindle Edition)

This book captures you from the first page and holds your attention until the very end. I enjoy getting lost in books like most readers but there are some you can set down and pick up later. This is one of those books that you don't put down until you are done. Then like all great series you immediately want the next installment.

This book has all the necessary elements needed for a good page turner: The hero, the villain, the damsel in distress and the jealous lover. What makes this book so great is that could describe anyone of the characters in the book. Like in life, no one person is all evil or all good, they are a mix. As the inner struggles of the characters are played out you become invested in all of them. You will laugh at the quick wit of the "bad guy" and become frustrated over the dominating attitude of the "good guy". What sets this book apart from others is you don't want the villains killed off in the end. Through the creative writings of this author she has flipped good and evil on its ear making it an unexpected read.

I look forward to the continuation of these characters.

I'm not a paranormal romance fan but Beyond the Myth was not your average romance novel.
There is battle scenes ready for the big screen. A twist on good and evil that has you cheering for Tanerk and the rest of the bad guys.
This first installment in the Myth Series has it all bloodshed, battles, great sex scenes, and a history that keeps you connected to the characters.
I look forward to the second book in the series
